Ballylongford GAA Club – 1st on the leaderboard in County Kerry.
The hugely popular Ireland Lights up walking initiative returned in January 2024 in partnership RTE”s Operation Transformation and get Ireland walking. GAA clubs across the 32 counties took part. This was the first year is our 1st year taking part and we are delighted to announce Ballylongford finished 13th on the leaderboard. Ballylongford GAA Club were the 1st in County Kerry Over 200 clubs registered and to finish 13th is a brilliant achievement. I’d like to thank everyone who registered for our club as well as joining us for our weekly walk It was great to see so many enjoying it. A massive thanks to O Keeffe’s Centra for Sponsoring refreshments and also to Noreen Kennelly and Beatrice Carmody for delicious homemade pies & buns on our final weekly walk.
